Country Complex. The History of a City Within a City.
«Every morning, I ask myself the same questions: Why do I need all this? Whom and what do I want to prove? Why am I involved in this ungrateful business that is doomed to emotional roller coasters? Who am I tearing myself apart for?»

I have been managing a large hotel and restaurant complex and a huge team for 4 years now. Oh, how tired I am... I'm fed up with technical problems, breakdowns, rocket attacks, their consequences, unpredictable weather, constantly changing legislation, dishonest partners and contractors, restrictions on marketing content, political agendas, bloggers and their perpetual dissatisfaction and demands, annoying stray dogs, overall anxiety... the list is endless. But most of all, I'm tired of leading the team. They are young, arrogant, often infantile, impulsive, and thoughtless. I'm tired of repeating the same things, tired of starting over and over again, tired of how my hard work and efforts are devalued, tired of people not knowing and not wanting to accumulate experience, tired of them not learning from mistakes. I'm tired of everything.

Every morning, I ask myself the same questions: Why do I need all this? Whom and what do I want to prove? Why am I involved in this ungrateful business that is doomed to emotional roller coasters? Who am I tearing myself apart for? The answers come very quickly. History teaches us that everything has a price. Success/failure/triumph/ambition/passion, etc. Operating a hotel and restaurant business is always a high-risk entrepreneurial zone and a complex, multi-level system where military discipline, financial literacy, empathy, and love for people must be accommodated and balanced.
To be hospitality means to be a person with an innate sense of tact, great internal culture, tolerance, and nonlinear thinking.

There is a belief that all people on Earth can be divided into two categories: hospitality or no hospitality. To be hospitality means to be a person with an innate sense of tact, great internal culture, tolerance, and nonlinear thinking. In 20 years of professional experience and expertise, I have learned to recognize these qualities within a minute of conversation with a person. I know how to teach others these qualities, and I will definitely dedicate a separate chapter to it. My column will tell you how to design and plan the ergonomics of a country complex, lay out and calculate autonomous infrastructure, build it, how to design and construct a complex restaurant and a complex SPA with intricate architecture, how to properly categorize rooms and build a hotel, everything about sales, marketing strategy, automation, digitization, team management, HR strategy, and much more. Despite all this tiredness, I am so happy that I can admit it and start the story of my journey by saying that I am not ashamed of it. It's a certain level of professional freedom for me.
I am delighted to welcome everyone to this platform, and I hope that my experience will be beneficial to the community of people who are not afraid to set themselves difficult tasks and are ready for grand adventures.
